Sam has finished Mini 2 and is focused on several different tests for his behavioral class. This week he had a test on physical exam technique on monday, and on thursday will be tested on interviewing and health history taking. The semester is starting to wind down, only 1 1/2 more weeks of class for him, and then 2 weeks of tests and finals. Then we're free!! For TWO WEEKS!! It's going be awesome. Although we can't go home for such a short period of time, we decided to take advantage of our location and booked tickets today for a trip to Antigua! We'll only be there a couple of days, but we'll be doing the whole "all-inclusive" resort thing, so it should be super nice. We're looking forward to the break.
School is going well for me. Please be praying for my shipment of books for the next semester, which starts in three weeks. My mom is mailing them to me this week, so PRAY that they get here quickly and that I don't have any problems starting my LAST semester. Yes, I just have one more semester before I graduate with a bachelors in religion! I'm excited. I'm enjoying the classes very much. I'm taking a Revelation/Daniel class and a Romans class during this session. It's been really interesting, I can't believe how much I've learned, not just this session and semester, but the whole last year, studying God's word. It's amazing how much there is to learn from one Book. I'm not sure anyone on earth will ever completely know and understand all that is contained in it.
Our other news is that I got a job! For the past 3 weeks now, I've been working at the Tomato Cafe, a cafe run by a Canadian couple that serves the students and faculty. I only work 3 shifts a week, so it's very manageable with my school schedule. I enjoy the work, the people and the little extra income it provides. So far so good! I'll try to take pictures this week and get them posted on here.
Well, that's about it for us! Hope all is well back home! We really miss everyone there, and are starting to get ready to come back to the states. We love living in Dominica, and thanks to God's grace have been content here. But the comforts of home are starting to sound awfully good...Christmas is going to be wonderful! Best wishes to all of you reading this, thanks for keeping in touch!

P.S. Sam and I will be celebrating TWO YEARS of marriage on thursday, the 31st!! We have been blessed beyond what we could even imagine, God has given me such an amazing man! I never dreamed I would be this happy. Thanks to all of you who have been there with us and supported us!
Here are a few pictures I've taken this month. The woman in the first picture is my friend I told you about in the last post. The picture was taken in her garden in front of her house. Continue to pray for her health and comfort.
This is a picture taken during our after-mini celebration dinner. The electricity went out for several hours, so we had dinner and played cards by candle light!! Not at all uncommon around here, but a bit of an inconvenience when we have people over. We made the best of it though (and tried to keep the boys from burning the place down)!
